I do not consider myself a traditional guitarist. Ditto for composition, I never found a voice in sequencing notes, notationally or in a DAW. It is a fact about myself that I accepted and live to the nines with: I am primarily a performer and interpreter (or operator), not a songsmith and composer (or developer).

I rely heavily on improvisation to create. When I do break open the DAW and formulate songs resembling electronic dance music, they are remixes of sound taken from my live improvised recordings. I never use canned samples in shipped software, I make them all or they're live.

These comprise such a grouping, ranging from synth-heavy to glitched-out. Sometimes at the same time! They all contain some element of rhythmic groove, dubby downtempo cliq-house to broken beat techno. Listeners will hear a lot of my guitar work strewn throughout. And there is plenty of listenable silence.
